"The customer service is top notch. Great staff. The Bare's are quite nice and the dorm could use a little love with the screens / lockers, but overall the Bula Bula vibe is real and the location is amazing- right on the beach - not far to Aquatrek- where I highly recommend the shark diving!"

"I booked this place because it was right next to the dive shop I was diving with. The place looks great from photos, unfortunately the rooms are very run down with paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom and water stains on the floor and even baked on grime on the bathroom mirror. The staff were helpful but the restaurant was lacking alot of food from the menu and even coke was not available at the bar. "I found the staff to be friendly and the room to be fairly clean, but it smelled mildewy. The resort itself is in a state of disrepair with a dirty elevator, doors in the halls covered in stains and dirt. The breakfast was hit and miss, some of it was good some of it was really inedible. The pool is also in a state disrepair as are some of the ocean facing chairs. "While not a high end property, I would go back. There were issues with the TV and we couldn't adjust the temperature but we loved the small group, family vibe. The food was ok, but good value considering. The staff was great. Loved the location."
