"Really lovely hotel and one of the best i have stayed in.
It was clean and very well maintained.
We booked a deluxe double room with balcony and it was a decent size with lots of cupboard space.
We went for my husbands 60th Birthday and the room had been decorated with balloons and red petals. They also left a delicious slice of chocolate cake with happy birthday on it which was a lovely touch and a nice surprise for my husband.
Bed linen & towels looked new. They were nice and fluffy and changed daily.
We loved the roof top pool which had spectacular views over Mellieha bay. It was adult only too which was a bonus.
The staff were very friendly and helpful which is always nice.
My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the hotel and hope to go back again next year."
"Room service really good, very clean hotel. All the people very helpful but top man was a chef whonwas doing omlet's. 3 swiming pools really good as well and spa."
"Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very disappointed in the one bottle of water a day only, so sad when other hotels give unlimited water."
"Great hotel ideally located a few minutes walk from the main area of St Julian’s and Paceville
Gets very busy at night with loads of bars, Disco and nightlife
Good food choices with Henry Beam and Hard Rock Cafe
Excellent clean room with excellent staff and service and nice pools as well as the facility to swim in the sea
Rush hour in the evening can be expensive with bolt taxi
Blue lagoon is a must"
"It is a solid 4* hotel.
The only issue is with the room.
The curtains make it impossible to sleep in. Too much light coming in.
In the peak summer months this is a problem as the sun is up at 6am.
Also the air conditioning shuts down when you leave the room so the room gets warm during the day if you leave to wander around town.
The hallways on the 11th are also not air conditioned (our room was on the 11th floor).
Their sister property (Le Bains) is where the hotel pool is at. Great little poo.
The property is a true one stop shop. Great concept. They have their own beach club (La Plage), beach restaurant (La Vie), hotel restaurant le GV (Michelin guide 2026).
I highly recommend booking le GV for brunch. The food was a real treat. The service impeccable.
Overall a definite great choice. Location was amazing."
"One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in.
It’s big and even though it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. The little beach is a massive plus as the island doesn’t have many. Food is excellent! Every day different dishes. Two restaurants to go to. 3 swimming pools and an inside one with cold unsalted water.
Bus stop 5 min from hotel. Water activities jetty even less. Every room has a balcony. It’s worth paying extra for the sea view one as it’s beautiful overlooking the pools and the sea. We were given a half sea view initially but after talking to the staff they’ve kindly changed our room to the full sea view.
My only gripe is no free water given with dinner. Water is a basic human necessity and should be provided for free at meal times.
Loved the place and would happily come back."
"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
"Staff was very helpful and kind. You always felt like they were there to help! Only downside was the beach wasn’t actually on the property. But was only a short walk."
