"Location : around 10 min walk from the JR station to the pier where the hotel provides free shuttle bus/ ferry pick up service.
Room: nice size and view. Rather old style But i consider it reasonable as it is an old hotel.
Onsen : I love the cave onsen. Very rare. This is the most beautiful features at the hotel.
Meals: buffet style. I always prefer kaiseki style. But it is a big hotel with a lot of guests. Buffer style is easy to manage .
Staff: nice and helpful
Recommended for good...

"We were warmly welcomed to Manseirou after 4 days of hiking the Kumano Kodō. The hotel was clean and peaceful and the onsen was perfect for soaking away the soreness from the hike. We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel and a nice view of the harbor."

"Facility needs updates but it has a nice ocean view and quiet onsen, located right next to the whale museum. I highly recommend including breakfast in your reservation. "This was a very cozy stay. All amenities and documentation were well prepared and the place was clean. The host was very quick to reply on Expedia (less than 5 minutes) even at 20:00/8:00pm.
If you have a family, having a rental vehicle is a must since walking is unsafe, especially in the evenings. Parts of the walk from Shimosato station and Taiji station do not have sidewalks. Access to the the Nachi area for Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route isn't the closest as you'd have to take train and bus,...

We had an amazing stay, on a walk to get some dinner supplies at a market we were offered to come celebrate a holiday with community members, a truly special experience. Check in and out with lock box very convenient, be careful driving in as the streets are narrow and be respectful :D"

"The air conditioner was not needed. We turned the heater on briefly and it worked very well.
The washer and dryer were both great. The shower rooms and bathrooms were excellent. The beds were nice. We enjoyed our stay veryuch and would gladly stay there again.
