"Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful). "Only a short stay but the staff were excellent and the room comfortable enough for a 6 hour sleep - didn't really have much time to look around as I have a late arrival and an early train out the next morning but seemed clean, comfortable and right in the centre of town with about a 10 minute walk to the station."

"Very lovely main lounge area with woodburing stove - great breakfasts with especially great staff too for breakfast and dinner service and Bar on the evening the restaurant was closed.
