"This hotel is pretty much on the river and we had a side view of the river but direct view of the church, unfortunately the Air conditioning was broken and we were not informed of this until we checked out, luckily it wasn't too hot when we stayed so didn't effect our stay too much, we had 3 large windows we could open anyway. Room was modern and had tea n coffee with complimentary sparkling water in the fridge which kept our drinks cold. We were offered some discounts to restaurant nearby and a small complimentary breakfast for no charge to the cafe nextdoor. We paid $720NZD for 2 nights (€362) remember there is a local bed tax per person per day to be added at time of check in. Lifts are small and our room was located on level 1 but we had a few stairs about 8 to navigate with heavy luggage, so just be aware of this when deciding. Overall the hotel was great, just beware of the cobble stones around the area, it's about a 8min to 10min walk from Koln HPF."
