"Hotel Au Charm Rabelaisein is a lovely boutique hotel centrally located in Amboise. We were able to walk everywhere. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the Amboise Castle from our window. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The town of Amboise is special and our accommodation here made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend this as a top place to stay in the Loire Valley."

"The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."

"Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day."

"This hotel provides an excellent experience when visiting Amboise and the surrounding area. When you first arrive and take your parking spot on the street, you might not realize how incredibly convenient the location is! Just out the back entrance of the hotel you are in the old town and right next to the grand chateau!
