"Perfectly situated hotel if you love the beach life."

"The staff everywhere was incredibly helpful and nice. However the property just lacked overall. The room for being “the ocean front penthouse” was very lack luster for the $$$$. Food was just ok. Nothing special for the island. The pool is really the highlight of the property but you don’t have beach access. Overall I would not recommend or stay here again. Sorry Morgan."

"Staff were friendly ."

"Great location beachfront, adjacent to D's Beach Bar, music, sometimes live, filters over, a nice vibe, close to Maho beach (500m), backs onto runway- first flight @ 8'ish.......great for plane watching from D's next door rooftop. Great light breakfast"

"Very Good place to stay"

"I didnt like that i had to pay for parking."

"The staff were absolutely amazing"

"Family of 4, kids under 10. There were food options, we especially enjoyed the fresh pizza. Tomeka at the Tavern was our daily lunch visit when the weather got too hot. The kids place was also the spot for parents to have a bit of a break. Staff is friendly, beach is accessible."

"We stayed here for our honeymoon, Our stay at this beautiful hotel villa was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. "I had such a beautiful and relaxing stay! The bedroom was absolutely amazing, and the entire property was thoughtfully laid out and so inviting. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully warm, making it so easy to unwind and enjoy the space. The view was incredible and truly added to the experience. The location was also perfect—close to everything I needed while still feeling peaceful and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful as well. They were extremely responsive, helpful, and went above and...

"Couldn’t be happier with our stay here! Everything was perfection - friendliest and most attentive staff, beautiful room with an idyllic view, nicest pool and bar experience, and great location with an easy walk to Restaurant Row. We can’t wait to stay here again!"

"It was a great beach vacation with my girlfriend, I highly recommend la playa for it’s proximity to a strip of private beach and restaurants within 1-2 minute walking distance. Catherine and Benedicte were a pleasure and gave great recommendations. The snorkeling excursion was fantastic - lots of sea turtles. We will be back again soon. Thank you for improving my French."

"Le petit déjeuner était super, le personnel super accueillant. Le seul point que je n’ai pas apprécié c’est les prises, ce sont des prises américaines. Ce serait bien de mettre des prises européennes aussi."
