Minn Gion
The Minn Gion is a very good choice. I gave it 4 stars becasue I am a hard marker. It is well located in the northern part of the Gion district but only 5 to 10 minutes walk due south to the heart of the district. Compact, clean rooms with kitchenette and amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Monday. The room was large in comparison to other hotels in Japan. We enjoyed the laundry machine and kitchen… and the food mart was located conveniently next door. The only complaints we had were we found the bed uncomfortable and the room smelled of curry when we arrived. ...
