"Felt very rundown and way past its best. Old fashioned interiors and still hints of the 1980s everywhere. Average client was old and pretty boring. That’s how the entire place felt. Facilities were super tired - like the gym. Shame as it’s a great spot. Worse part may have been the food. It was just like the entire vibe - boring and out of touch. Staff friendly. "

"I cannot fault the hotel in any way. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience. The greeting we received from the staff when we arrived, to the spotless room. The restaurant el Vulcan was amazing! We visited the spa also, another fantastic experience. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing hospitality- it was second to none. "Beautiful hotel. Loved the swim up rooms in royal level. Loved the infinity pool and the cocktails at the pool bar. Breakfast excellent. Food in royal restaurant at lunch and dinner could be hit or a miss. Would return but possibly on a bed and breakfast rather than AI basis. "
