"From check in , where Maddie sorted out not just our room but taxi and evening out, to the advice from the wonderful Dian regarding restaurants in the North Shore, we could not fault any of the staff. They were fabulous. Location is great in the historic district, close to bars and restaurants / really liked Second and Nic and Normans. Plus the room was large, everything is spotless and the pool area was relaxing. We had 3 fabulous days."

"Very clean on arrival. Greeted by a very friendly guest relations lady. She was very well dressed and professional in looks and manner. Made sure our room was clean and ready for us to check in. Did not eat breakfast. But everything else the emenities and all workers we came in contact were very helpful. Bed sleep very good."

"Overall I had a decent experience. The room was clean, which I appreciated, although there was noticeable wear and tear that could use some attention. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff—they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. Their customer service definitely made a positive impression. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major letdown. The setup was not appealing, and the selection was very limited. It didn’t feel inviting or satisfying, and it’s an area that really needs improvement. In summary, while the cleanliness and staff stood out in a good way, the condition of the room and the breakfast experience could be significantly improved."

"Although the room was clean as usual, I was slightly perturbed being out in a room next door to a kids birthday sleepover. They were really loud and I typically come here to get peace. This time I didn’t get any but I didn’t want to be a part pooper. There was also this odor on the 2nd floor that I couldn’t quite figure out what it was but it wasn’t pleasant. Hopefully, I’ll get my quiet time the next time I visit. I’m there at least once a month."

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a work of art and we got a great price for the room. There are good restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed for one night while headed north. This hotel was excellent. Very clean, room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very clean and looks like it has been redone. Would definitely make this a required stop in the future."
