The room was excellent with an unparalleled view of the port of Chania! The staff we so friendly and attentive and were always ready to give us excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, activities and more! Domus Reis is amazing! I loved that the property keep many architectural and artful features from the previous palace. It is in the heart of old Hania. Excellent stay at this hotel. Water view was amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants, old town and the Venetian harbor. Spectacular breakfast, not a buffet with a menu to order from. If you were going to miss breakfast, they would have a box breakfast for you. Quiet at night and has an elevator. Hospitality was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect getaway

We had stayed here 8 yrs ago and could not wait to get back. It was everything we remembered. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and the restaurant Zepo as delicious as it was then. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we cannot wait to come back. One of the best hotels in the world - and we have traveled a lot!

Second time in Chania—which I love—but first time at this hotel. Travelling with family and we stayed in the Master Suite. Hotel description and photographs are perfectly accurate so there’s no need repeating them, but the hotel nevertheless managed to exceed our expectations in every way. The owner and all members of the staff that we encountered were spectacular—extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
