Hotel staff was great! Always willing to help and guide us on what to do, where to go and also brought a lot of experience on what would make our experience better. They go out of their way to accommodate and help. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve had and it by itself was a great experience. Room and hotel made the whole stay in chania perfect, as it feels you are staying in part of history with all the amenities and it is a well kept property.

The room was excellent with an unparalleled view of the port of Chania! The staff we so friendly and attentive and were always ready to give us excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, activities and more! Situated in an absolutely perfect location on the harbor, the staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely organized, with many amenities and provided toiletries. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely return here and stay again.

Domus Reis is amazing! I loved that the property keep many architectural and artful features from the previous palace. It is in the heart of old Hania. Excellent stay at this hotel. Water view was amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants, old town and the Venetian harbor. Spectacular breakfast, not a buffet with a menu to order from. If you were going to miss breakfast, they would have a box breakfast for you. Quiet at night and has an elevator. Hospitality was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Second time in Chania—which I love—but first time at this hotel. Travelling with family and we stayed in the Master Suite. Hotel description and photographs are perfectly accurate so there’s no need repeating them, but the hotel nevertheless managed to exceed our expectations in every way. The owner and all members of the staff that we encountered were spectacular—extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Will be returning to stay again at some point.
