"Everything was clean, just the room is in need of a good update, everything seemed tired. Staff were helpful."

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."

"Was only there for one night and late in and out early. Staff were always available to help out. Property has been renovated so basic, but clean and comfortable room. There are ongoing renovations and building but it didn’t impact the quality of stay"

"No food in late evening which was a shame as I missed dinner at an event I was attending in Leeds. Overnight the hotel was very noisy with sound travelling between floors etc. The staff were nice but a little indifferent. The breakfast was part cold and the coffee was terrible. Didn’t get a chance to try the spa."

"Very good value. Room in cabin in woods. Nice freshly cooked breakfast. Pleasant welcoming staff."

"It was consistent with expectation and you get what you pay for. Which wasn't a lot. It served its purpose as an overnight stop-over before an early flight. Easy parking, convenient for LBA. Food awful. Bed was comfortable, room was clean but dark, shabby and rather depressing. Best bit - escaping into early morning sunshine."

"The staff was great and it’s a beautiful venue, unfortunately there was no AC, food at breakfast ran out, the noise level from dogs, other guest and parties was intolerable. Lastly, the spa sauna was broken and the hot tub as well."
