The owner and his wife are wonderful, so is the cleaning lady. Near restaurants, a cinema multiplex and a bowling center. For low budget Travellers who want to take advantage of the region and visit the beautiful castles. Recommend wholeheartedly!"

"An exceptional and wonderfully relaxing stay. Hotels.com had made an error in translating the room description: we believed we had booked a room in the château, but it was actually in the Carriage House. Although this was in no way the hotel’s fault, the staff could not have been more proactive or professional in resolving the issue and ensuring everything was handled to the highest standard. Highly recommended, great food, beautiful grounds and excellent service"

"Friendly staff and very clean. As others have said, it’s tired (no a/c but a fan was enough) and a little frayed but it’s charming, great for exploring or using as a stop on the way south, as we did. Would stay again. "

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
