"Really impressive building, architecturally fully of history. Lovely, welcoming and super hospitable and respectful staff. A bit of a family feel to the place. Warm, comfy, spacious and great shower. Super accommodating of dogs with treats, bowls and bins. Dogs even permitted in the restaurant! I didn’t try the restaurant but breakfast menu looked lovely. In terms of value for money - excellent. Highly recommend. "

"Lovely room, with a very nice bathroom. The hotel was well located within a 2 min walk from the centre of town which made an evening walk around the old sights very enjoyable. The parking was off site but very close by. The restaurant and bar were very nice. An open area for making the home made pizza was lovely and the breakfast was also very nice. The morning staff that served us at breakfast were very friendly and helpful even making a special sausage for our dog as a treat ! Highly...
"We needed last minute emergency accomodation for Tramlines festival and The Ibis were superb. All amenities were fab, breakfast was good value ( especially if you booked the day before - £9 instead of £11) There was a lovely lounge area and even though most guests were there for the festival, it was quiet and they kept the bar available for a little night cap. The staff were helpful and the parking with discount was so convenient. Would definitely recommend and book again for next year! "
"Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire."
