"It was great for the two nights we stayed. We were on the top floor with a balcony with a great view. The Atocha train station was conveniently located across the street. It's about a 25 minute walk to Mayor Plaza through the beautiful El Retiro Park. The only downside was reading reviews that you had to rent utensils, plates, cups, pots and pans from the front desk. I never heard of that before; therefore, we brought out own paper plates and plastic utensils for our cereal and yogurt we had in...

"i was pleasantly surprised that the autonomous self-check-in works smoothly. i was anxious at first until arrival. i like the idea of checking in/out early/late with a reasonable fee (not clear on how early is early-check-in. 2 hr was not mentioned until purchased). need to warn older travelers that this self-check-in needs an active cell phone,"
