"We had a lovely visit to Palazzo di Valli. The location is just gorgeous - about a 1.5 km walk to the Campo inside the walls of Siena. The breakfast was wonderful - we looked forward to it every morning. The managers Lorenzo and Giacomo were so kind and accommodating - even when we had a very unexpected late check-in. "We loved this hotel. Old palazzo well restored . Old fashioned simple ambience. Great value . Worth paying a little more for room with view which was simply stunning ( chocolate box Tuscany) and made the holiday for us. Good breakfast with a few unusual touches like the cheese and ham tart and spinach tart. Very close to all the sights of beautiful old Siena. Recommend ."
"Located on. hilltop west of the old city. Rooftop lounge provides Awesome view, especially at dunset. Historic villa tastefully converted to small hotel. near a bus stop. Only a 15 minute walk to the old city and attractions."
"Under the Tuscan Sun experience within the medieval walls of Siena. Views of the Tuscan countryside on one side and the medieval city on the other. Nice walk to all the going ones in the city but a quiet retreat when you are ready for a romantic getaway. "
"A wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon."
"The most comfortable mattresses we have found on our travels, were in the family room of this hotel. Beautiful location, friendly staff, delicious coffee at breakfast. Quick 10 minute walk to the historic district. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to add a little more storage in the room and bathroom (and maybe some hooks). "
