"The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Beddgelert was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. Ty Afon is also very close to Mount Snowdon if you're interested in climbing it. Thank you for our wonderful stay."

"The lodge was in a nice secluded position with its own parking. It was comfortable with modern specs, decor, a comfortable sitting area and bed with plenty of room for a travel cot. Within walking distance to the lovely restaurant. Had a lovely stay with my hubby, thank you."

"Booked this hotel for a weekend due to location to Watkin Path. Staff so kind & helpful, Rooms clean & tidy with ensuite bathrooms including baths in two out of 3 rooms booked. Use of lift to rooms. "Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre."

"Well portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. "Absolutely beautiful outside space, a well kept garden with superb views over the Menai Strait. Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. "We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room.
