Awesome stay!

We loved our stay. The hotel and restaurant atmosphere was wonderful. We loved the grounds and the pool. Perfect for visiting Ortigia, Noto, Monica, Scillonian and beaches.

This is a beautiful property in the countryside. The staff are all very personable and customer service oriented. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with incredible baked goods. We had two dinners at the restaurant and they were both fabulous. The pool was a lovely place to relax. We were able to make several day trips from here and found it to be a good base.

What an amazing place

We had the most peaceful and enjoyable stay at Torre Don Virgilio. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning grounds that feature some of the most amazing olive trees we’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was serene and perfect for relaxation. The food was absolutely excellent, offering authentic flavors with a touch of elegance. The service was top-notch, and the staff made sure every detail was perfect. Our room was impeccable—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. What a beautiful and relaxing country hotel, with a nice clean, big pool, and surrounded by olive trees. Incredible dinner served on site, as well as generous and diverse breakfast buffet. Friendly hosts!

Lovely rural location central to surrounding communities and attractions. We were greeted upon check-in with local information and a glass of iced tea. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, attentive and professional throughout our stay. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner including some of the best seafood we had in the area; sauces were perfectly balanced and fish perfectly cooked. The desserts were delicious, too!

Lovely retreat between Noto and Modica

Beautiful property, only 15 minutes to Modica. We had a room facing the pool and gardens. Pool and the room was very clean. Quiet location. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant every night as the food was so good. Deconstructed cannoli will be remembered forever. If we return to Sicily would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. The property and rooms were beautiful. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights and the the dinner and the breakfasts were delicious. I liked the country location and was easy to get around to Ragusa, Modica and Scicly by car. I found the bed was not the most comfortable and the toilet paper was the worst on our three week trip in Sicily and Italy. Otherwise was a nice luxury.

Wunderschönes ländliches Hotel, hervorragendes Essen und sehr nettes Personal! Guter Ausgangspunkt um den Süden Siziliens zu erkunden. Mietwagen wird empfohlen da sehr ländlich gelegen. Leider sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Restaurants o. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Mind. 15 Minuten Fahrzeit. Uns hat leider nur eine Kleinigkeit gefehlt… ein Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse 😅 (vielleicht auch am Pool.. dort gab es Doppelliegen mit Stoffdach). Aber alles in allem würde ich dem Hotel ein sehr gut geben!

Hotel bellissimo in aperta campagna. Silenzio e tranquillità. Personale gentilissimo, ottima colazione, piscina spettacolare in mezzo agli ulivi. Per raggiungere la struttura è necessario l'uso del navigatore perché assai isolata nella campagna, con strade prive di segnaletica... Ma giunti sul posto... vale assolutamente il viaggio!

Magnifique séjour de lune de miel

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet hôtel de charme pour notre lune de miel. L’accueil y est très chaleureux, le personnel est très aimable et sympathique, notamment Antonio le maître d’hôtel, aux petits soins avec nous tout au long du séjour. Les petits déjeuners sont succulents comprenant des produits locaux et pour tous les goûts (sucré, salé..). Le restaurant propose d’excellents mets ; nous recommandons les fabuleuses pizzas du chef ! La piscine est très chouette, au calme, et les aménagements autour bien agréables notamment pour profiter d’une sieste sous les oliviers. L’hôtel est également bien situé et permet de rayonner au sein de la magnifique Sicile Baroque !

Antica masseria perfettamente restaurata. Posto veramente incantevole nel pieno della campagna siciliana in una zona sempre ventilata in cui anche durante le giornate afose non fa caldo complice anche una bellissima piscina. La posizione è molto comoda per visitare tutto il Val di Noto perché è a mezzora di distanza dalle principali attrazioni. Le camere sono caratterizzate da un assoluto silenzio e da una pulizia perfetta. Staff gentilissimo. Ampio parcheggio gratuito a disposizione. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi ha intenzione di trascorrere una vacanza rilassante immerso nella natura dell'isola.

Posto tranquillo in mezzo agli ulivi, molta pace e silenzio. Il soggiorno è stato soddisfacente. Unica scomodità è stato avere il bagno al piano di sotto, e per andare a cena fuori bisogna per forza usare l'auto e cercare un posto nei dintorni (almeno 5 km).

Lovely country inn. Nice room and decent breakfast. The only criticism we have is we were grossly overcharged for the laundry service. When we asked twice for an estimate, we were informed the cost would be reasonable. While we expected there would be a premium, we were gobsmacked when we got the bill. It is for this reason we cannot give this place a high rating.

Un'oasi di relax a pochi minuti dal centro

Atmosfera bellissima, da vera cartolina, un tuffo nel passato con tutta la struttura resa efficiente ed adeguata ai tempi di oggi nei servizi. Ottime le condizioni del country hotel, giardino ben curato, sala colazioni con pietra a vista anche all'interno, cosi come anche per le camere, molto buona la qualità della colazione, ampissima scelta di prodotti. Una vera oasi di pace nel cuore della campagna modicana ma a pochissimi minuti dal centro, l'ideale per rilassarsi e per spostarsi in qualsiasi direzione. Parcheggio comodissimo per le auto, camera davvero molto ampia, climatizzazione fan coil, ecc.. La piscina completa l'offerta e sicuramente nel periodo estivo rende ancora piu' piacevole il soggiorno. Davvero cordiale tutto il personale presente, il posto vale assolutamente di essere ben valutato per un soggiorno a Modica.
