Tried to change date as u made a mistake on calendar. They wanted to charge me more than my original booking $200 As I had no insurance they took advantage of situation although it was over 2 weeks in advance. Therefore I did not go and paid anyway. Shameful

We stayed at several hotels throughout Sicily—including Palermo, Taormina, and Siracusa—and this was by far the weakest experience of our trip. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. Our first room would not cool properly, so we were moved to a second, which was only slightly better. We were later offered a third room and even another hotel, and were told it would cool down outside at night. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts to help, guests should not have to switch rooms multiple times because the AC doesn’t work. Even in the second room, the temperature never dropped below about 23°C (73°F), making it difficult to sleep after hot days of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor. It barely worked in our room, forcing me to go to the lobby just to download shows. Reliable internet should be a basic amenity. The room lacked expected conveniences such as a coffee maker, kettle, and complimentary bottled water. Individually these are minor, but together they made the stay feel below the standard we experienced elsewhere in Sicily. As we packed to leave, we also found ants at the foot of the bed, adding to our disappointment. The staff remained courteous and tried to address the issues, but good service cannot compensate for inadequate facilities. Ragusa is a beautiful city, but this hotel fell short in air conditioning, Wi-Fi, amenities, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Très bon accueil. La partie réception de l’hôtel est très belle et fidèle aux photos. Par contre, la chambre standard dans laquelle nous avons dormi n’est pour moi pas à la hauteur du standing minimal d’un tel hôtel. Le sèche serviette de la salle d’eau était cassé et chauffait en continue et la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. La douche aurait également besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement. Pas de verre et pas de possibilité de prendre un café ou thé (même payant) dans la chambre. Une bouteille d’eau gratuite par séjour serait appréciable.

The hotel is a real gem with a wonderful indoor pool/spa that you can reserve for exclusive use. It is located well in hilly Ragusa and very close to the important sites.
