"Sadly we were only able to stay 1 or the 2 nights we reserved at Mustard Hotel due to a flight issue. However, yesterday when we checked in everything was still arranged and ready for our arrival. The staff were amazingly kind, friendly, and courteous to us. They were even kind enough to upgrade our room to a large balcony room and gave us some breakfast tickets as well. What a lovely gesture! The room itself was very nice and spacious (from what we understand rooms can be small in Tokyo). We didn’t feel cramped or like the room was too small. Beds were very comfortable and the duvets were soft. The aircon worked perfectly and the shower was piping hot with tons of water pressure. Lastly, location of the hotel. I was a little worried it was too out of the way. But, the hotel ended up being about a 10 minute walk from many late night restaurants. All in all, what a lovely stay, too bad it was only one for 1 night. But between the lovely staff and the cool laid back vibe the hotel offers, we’ll definitely be back! "

"The room is clean and washing machine inside the room is convenient. There are basic utensils if you want to cook. There’s a lounge/dining area if you want to rest outside your room but lacking hot water facility. I have to boil water using the kettle from the room and bring it down so that our relative who came over to visit can have some tea. There’s a small coffee counter ( I would not even call it a shop) but does not serve with milk, you have to pay. Overall, convenient place, slightly up the hill and close enough to Shibuya crossing (around 700m downhill). "

"Everything was exceptional however the rooms are a bit on the smaller side making it perfect for single person travelers. If you do have you and another person it will be a bit cramped in a single room. One thing was the air conditioning, I wasnt sure if it was working sometimes because sometimes the room would get a little hot to where you can notice it. Other than that the staff are very helpful for English speakers, and if you don’t speak Japanese a translator app will also be just as helpful. There is a laundromat in that area however it is a good walk away so I recommend going early in the morning. The station is very closeby perfect for getting to a city that you want to visit. "

"Brand new hotel. Good location near train and ample busses. Not directly in Shibuya however. No views from the rooms and rooms were tiny. It was comfortable however, bed was nice. But compact, clean and safe. Perfect for a solo traveler, two people would have been tight, especially with luggage."
