"Great breakfast, clean room, dog friendly and ideal location. If you like to walk only approx 25min into bowness or short drive if you prefer. Couldn't book an evening meal at check in as already booked up so may need to pre book before arrival. Overall very happy with our stay and would go back again."

"Definitely dangerous for anyone with poor mobility or elderly - over 60 steps from first floor bedroom to pool and spa ! Wife tripped going down garden to lake as railings removed at moment - should be completely boarded off until construction finished . Poor contractors tipping waste into woods opposite front door across road ."

Breakfast was nice but expected a little more to warrant the price. Beautiful views from the hotel and plenty walks from the hotel as a starting point. Dog friendly too "
