"I grew up in Ventura and back in the day the Pierpont Inn was THE place to stay. So we were excited to return there for a visit of several days. Though it still has a great location near the beach, nowadays the place is worn and weary. Pros: Beds were very comfortable, office staff were pleasant, pool clean (but cool), bathrooms recently updated, breakfast buffet was fresh. Cons: Paid for an ocean view room and window was the dirtiest I have EVER seen! Really disappointing and disgusting. Staff...

"Best price for location. Clean shower and bedding."

"The owner or manager was very difficult, assess wanted in my room . I should have made a police report."

"Was clean and really safe nice rooms"

"None of the pictures on their website match the room or any other room for that matter. Shower drain still had hair in it from previous. I accidentally caught the bed sheet with my foot getting out of bed a the bed pad had blood all over it as if someone had been stabbed. Flys in the room. The mini fridge was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The dresser had no doors or drawers, just open shelving. After the blood incident I couldn’t get out of there fast enough."

"Clean Room. Ice machine wasn’t working but staff helped get us ice."
