"The lady on reception last night was lovely. Showed us round the facilities and to my room. Bedroom was clean and tidy. Was going for an operation so want able to do breakfast but I’d definitely book again and bring my girls. The hotel was a lovely old manor style house with all its features."

"The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we received was very comfortable and clean. Parking was available near the hotel."

"For a fair price we had a good quiet stay. The property needs some attention, though the staff were friendly and everything worked okay."

"Great breakfast!"

"Ample parking. Amazing breakfast. Great views"

"Good size bedroom, excellent breakfast, great staff"

"Cleaning room parking is street parking. Quiet place"

"Clean & comfortable space. Helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast! Location was great for our travel (1 mile from local train station.)"

"brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again"

"Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice"

"Food was amazing"

"While we liked the theme of the pub, and the staff were friendly, the stay was let down by a poor nights sleep due to very thin walls and chatter in the pub past 11pm (despite the pub closing at 10). I did complain, and the noise did stop after some time, but it took a significant amount of time to get to sleep even after that. "This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked, full english breakfast as well as lighter options like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs alongside fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. Highly...

"Definitely a 5 star B&B. Lovely big room with terrace seating outside, overlooking the sheep and guinea fowl in the fields. Loads of parking. Very clean and well presented. The owners have pretty much thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and feel homely. Breakfast, with loads of choice, is cooked freshly to order in the area that serves as a bistro on several evenings in the week. We ate at the bistro - 'Feather and Beak' on one occasion and the food was outstanding. The owners...
