"Great hotel clean staff was great the issues we had were a smoke alarm at 430am which of course was not the hotels fault but billing was they charged the 250 deposit plus 1000 on top of the cost of the room it did take a few days but once I called the hotel they got on it immediately and within an few hours it was released !!"

"The hotel was a default as all others booked. Opted for small room on the ground floor with kitchenette. The patio door lock was broken likely for so some time. The patio was unkempt. No window to open for air. The outside lights could have lit up a football field and the "blackout curtains" didn't extend to cover the windows. Odd noises all night. Poor value"

"Had a girls night here and it was absolutely beautiful! The location is great, right on the water. Used the kitchen to cook a meal as they had all the necessities. Would love to come back!"

"The hotel is located near tourist attractions but is also quiet and ideal for relaxation. The standard rooms are only suitable for two people; more than two people would feel cramped and inconvenient. A suggestion for improvement is that the bed is too soft or too saggy, making for an uncomfortable sleep."

"Great location, set back from the harbour but very easy walking. Beacon Hill park on the doorstep is beautiful. Staff were really lovely, very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there but the cafe looked good."

"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. We will recommend our friend when visit Victoria."

"Firstly, the Days Inn at Uptown Victoria is a motel not hotel as listed. Our rooms were accessed from the outside which made feeling secure a little less. The rooms are dated, with the toilet being small and lower to the ground and the tub very small. The sink was outside of the bathroom and located beside the bed. The bedding was clean but the beds are situated on a metal skirting that made a tin can popping sound every time you moved and the A/C was right beside the one bed making it hard...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and promptly took care of a bathroom problem. The parking was free and adjacent to the entrance with a drive through canopy to protect from the rain. We appreciated our unsolicited room upgrade, the 15% off coupon for the restaurant, the free filtered water, free coffee and tea station and bathroom nightlight. It was a great location. We could walk to two quality museums, whale watching tour at Fisherman's Wharf, Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings and...
