One of the major roads to the property was closed which meant we were driving around in circles. An email warning would have been helpful. We informed Google maps but they should have done that. "This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. "
"Lovingly restored old villa hotel with sparkling clean and new modern finishes. Carmelo and Silvio are brothers who are passionate about their property and its history. Our room was large and had views of the old church next door and across the rooftops to the sea. We had access to two terraces with seating, one sunny and one shady. "Hotel is perfectly placed in the center of Palermo. If you want to see the historical sites of the city, this hotel is great for that. They have a private garage parking at a cost of 30€ . This is a big plus as it is very difficult to find parking in Palermo and i wouldn't want to leave my car on the street at night . Federika will welcome you and give you great places to.check out .

If I were to make a suggestion, it is to put some kind of water fountain outside hotel with recirculated water, to rinse off the sand from the beautiful beach below.

"The room is spacious, new and clean. The location is good if you are taking bus as the bus terminal at the upper historic town, then can just walk to lower historic town.
Breakfast can pick the cafe on list and Silvia has recommended some good restaurants and pizza shops too. "
