"We arrived later than expected and after the kitchen closed. The team were waiting for us patiently and prepared cold, but delicious dinner for us in our room. This was really unexpected, but very welcome after a long and arduous drive. We felt very well looked after. The room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. "Ample secure car parking, easy to find and a great and warm welcome. The room was huge, nicely laid out and the bathroom spacious, everything was clean and bright. As it was Bastille Day they had a local celebratory one off meal on a day when the restaurant was usually closed, and we were invited to join them as guests. Our dining experience was in the large garden which was well laid out with plenty of space in between tables in an almost woodland setting. The moules frites was substantial and superb and the aray of starters from a buffet were homemade, fresh and delicious and you could return for more if you wished. This also included dessert which you could also have more of for and a glass of beer each...all for €20 which was great value for money. The waiting staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive and took pride in their offer. The breakast was generous with pastries and bread, an assortment of chacuterie and yogurt and a good choice of tea and coffee. The waitress was friendly and approachable and ensured we had everything we needed. Checkout was speedy, and they thanked us for our stay. All in all great value for money."
