Cute little place outside of Maun

Cute little place a bit outside of Maun. I got the best service, help and advice from Taboka in the staff. She arranged things I could never have come up with on my own. Thank you!

The place itself is nice and clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly (just one lady during the day and security guard at night). The location is a bit secluded and no where near the location stated on Hotels.com. They have it in the city centre which is the main reason why i chose to stay there but in actual fact the location is on the outskirts along a dirt track, off the main road to the east of the river.

Warning: Wrong location information

this property seems to be located in the center part of Maun in the map of Hotels.com , however, it is located not so far from the Disaneng road in the opposite side of the river. It was a huge disappointment and inconvenience to me because the only reason that I picked this place was a good access to the long distance bus terminal (by taxi, it took 15 min to get to the bus terminal, cost 50 pula. you can ask the guesthouse to make an arrangement )... anyway, the property itself was good, friendly and efficient people with high security. and according to the guesthouse, I was not the first person who was mislead to pick to this place relying on the wrong location information provided by Hotels.com.

Sehr schönes Gästehaus mit neuwertiger Einrichtung und Pool. Sichere Parkmöglichkeit im Innenhof - nachts durch Security bewacht. Gutes Frühstück, Abendessen auf Vorbestellung. Das Essen wird von den Damen, die das Haus führen, zubereitet. Ausflüge ins Okavango-Delta werden arrangiert (Anmeldung bereits bei der Buchung des Aufenthaltes sinnvoll). Super Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Auffinden und Anfahrt sehr problematisch. Keine genügende Ausschilderung. Man muss suchen und sich durchfragen. Die Ortsangabe auf der bei EXPEDIA gezeigten Landkarte ist völliger Unfug. Das Gästehaus liegt westlich des Thamalakane-River - noch an der DELTA WATERS School vorbei auf der rechten Seite. Wie schon gesagt: keine Ausschilderung, keine ordentliche Straße.
