"Rooms were $800+ I managed to get a room for $400. By the time I arrived 9:45pm, everything was closed or closing at 10pm. Apparently the hotel was transitioning to a new ownership. I wish I was notified. A desk guy said that there were "signs in the elevators". I was just at the property a week ago and no word of this "transition"... I needed food after travelling all day, and there are no microwaves in the Executive Suites. I used hot tap water to add to an insta noodle cup...

"Great location for having to catch a plane at the YVR Airport. Nice room, but the cleaning could be improved. The maids left the remote control behind a non-movable desk, so we had to call for another. When we looked behind the desk it looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks or months. Not a good look. Other than that one area it was a nice room and bathroom and overall nice property."

"It is very hard to find the lobby. You must park in a dark parking lot behind the building and walk down the street to get to the lobby to check in. The night staff was rude and unhelpful. If you have a 6:00am flight, don't count on the hotel shuttle, it doesn't start running until 4:00 am. You must pay to park at the hotel. The parking spots are extremely small and it is tight to move around. The overflow parking is a dark lot under the overpass across the street from the hotel."

"We booked one night over the weekend and we got a message on Wednesday evening saying the hotel could not accommodate us. We’ve been trying to contact the hotel to issue the refund and reached out to the expedia team and they’ve sent a request to process the refund but the hotel doesn’t not answer nor do they respond. We ended up having to pay more for the last minute change for our weekend and this was no ideal and very inconvenient."

I am dealing with a 16month injury and am on walker and they put us in pretty unfriendly room for someones whos disabled so I wish they would've reacted accordingly when they saw me. We were in a rush to get to a wedding so I didn't fuss with requesting a room change for one night.
