This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. When you are just arriving, the surrounding area might look a bit different than expected, but it seemed very safe and once you walk into the city it is very nice and cute. "The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"This was essentially a studio. We knew that when we booked as we need a short overnight stay. So for my family of 4 (2 teens) it worked. The only was issue was parking for my car rental. The streets were super narrow here and parking was difficult to find nearby. "

"We were only here one night, but this hotel was great! From our room, we had a view of the street below and the sea in the distance. Our hotel wasn't necessarily *close* to all the food/shopping or the fort, but it was within a reasonable walk that felt safe to us. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing any information we needed and helping us set up a taxi the next morning.
