"This property was an ideal location for a concert I was attending at the Peice Hall , I would highly recommend based on price , location and quality of the property. "
"The check in and out was really quick and sammy behind the bar was so helpful regarding taxis etc and a bonus the pub stayed open until we came back from the gig."
"I love stopping here. Its less than a 2 minute from the train station and the Peice Hall, and a 3 minute walk to the shops and bus station.

"Craig the host was very friendly and arranged taxi transport to & from Piece Hall to his new hotel as The Bull on the Bridge was overbooked. Excellent customer service & both hotels were v nice!"

However, Expedia said that they did not receive the payment, and the hotel also asked me to pay for the accommodation.
I paid twice. I am very dissatisfied."
"Great place. The guy at check in was brilliant. Had salmon and king scallops for tea and was beautiful. The Missus enjoyed her fish n chips. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we’ve had and the lady got us in early cos we had somewhere to go. Couldn’t do enough for us. Will go again 100%"

"Convenient good value hotel. Spacious clean room in good condition with large comfy bed. Although very close to M62 the double and secondary glazing did a great job to keep the traffic noise out. The included breakfast was grab and go style but the bacon sandwich was hot and well-filled, good choice of other items. We used for a music event in Halifax, and will very probably use next time!"

Evening young staff gathered around talking instead of paying attention to customers that was the only negative

Ate in the evening and had breakfast. The staff were very good and friendly and the food was excellent.
We actually stayed in the same room on both occasions, was like going down memory lane.
Would definitely stay again, if in the area. "
