"Lovely hotel with great rooms, good selection of coffees teas and local fudge. Fresh milk provided to take to your room. Great range of beds, bowls and treats for dogs too. Meals were excellent and the staff, Sarah and Rob (and the others too) went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and sort gluten free information for one of our party. "NO INTERNET, NO WIFI – Otherwise very good all respects.
When we arrived at Robin Lodge, we were really impressed. It is lovely. Spacious, clean, well equipped, warm. However, there is no internet nor wifi.
In this day and age, to not have wifi is unbelievable and somewhat shortsighted. Whilst the listing makes no reference to wifi, I personally think that it should be explicitly stated that there is no wifi. You just have to look at the reviews to see that others, like us, have been caught...

"Stayed in the cottages for a wedding weekend. Everything was lovely and the location is just fabulous. The food was lovely and the staff all worked really hard and were there morning until night.
The cosy lounges were a bit too warm when the fires were roaring but there are other rooms to sit in.

"We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves
We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes.
We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient.
Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable ...
