This was a great setup for me as a solo traveler. The room was modern, clean and just the right size for me. It was a little hard to find the hotel, but I figured it out! The elevator was broken during my stay, so it was tiring to walk up and down 3-4 flights, but I managed. The hotel is literally in the center of Madrid so you have easy access to almost everything via the metro or walking. You do have to walk a little ways to get a taxi, but it’s not too bad!

The room was lovely, big and well maintained. The location was superb. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The only problem was the entrance to the building and the walk up was all dated and not very appealing. There are rickety wood stairs and an elevator that only holds one person. They should do more to renovate the entrance and the stairway up to the property.

The location was very closed to several main attractions/touristic places. Tons of shops, restaurants and just a few steps from Sol metro station. Our room was kind of small for our family of 5 (specially with a toddler) but we were out most of the time. The room had a small fridge, air conditioner, WiFi and Netflix (which we used often so the kids can continue watching their movies). The staff were very attentive and super helpful at the check in time. They communicated with me prior to the arrival through WhatsApp and gave me all the instructions. The rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floor and there is an elevator but only one person can go up at a time. By the time we checked out they were doing some remodeling of the elevator doors so maybe it will look different now. The cleaning staff comes everyday unless you have your do not disturb sign. Overall we did had a good time and would love to be back. Thanks
