Excellent location

Excellent location, we will stay again because is close to everything. It is not a fancy hotel, but if you like to travel, be close to the Metro and don't mind about the look.. this is a very good option. A lot of food options around.

Conveniently central location

Reception difficult to find. Room small but beds very comfortable. Bathroom tiny and needs an update. Room looked out on pedestrian street. Rather noisy at night. Good value for money and very good location for visiting the centre of Madrid.

It is a hostel so please do not expect it to have a wonderful and beautiful property. Rooms are small. Bathrooms are small. Bed is comfortable. Hot water is plentiful. Walls between rooms are thin but FABULOUS location

There was so much noise outside and inside the building that we slept very poorly. At night, the noise in the street didn't stop before 3AM. The hostel's personnel would speak very loudly, very early (around 7AM) outside our bedroom's door. The rooms aren't soundproofed at all; we could hear a baby crying all night next door.

Horrible accueil , réception dans un bâtiment pas annoncé en avant , manque de professionnalisme. La salle de bains avait des cheveux par terre dés qu’on est arrivé et lendemain. Même après avoir contacté la réception. On a décidé de partir plutôt que prévu. Au moment d’aller remettre les clés, on nous a rien demandé comment s’était passée le séjour ni pourquoi on allait partir plutôt

Hostal Victoria I – Madrid Excelente ubicación, justo en la Puerta del Sol, en el corazón de Madrid. A solo unos pasos del metro, rodeado de tiendas de souvenirs, casas de cambio y muchas opciones para comer. A pesar de estar en medio del bullicio de la ciudad, el ambiente dentro del hostal es tranquilo y el ruido de la calle no se escucha en las habitaciones. Las habitaciones no son nuevas, pero están bien acondicionadas y limpias, con baño en buenas condiciones, internet rápido y televisión funcional. El pequeño refrigerador fue un plus, ya que nos permitió guardar medicamentos. El elevador es diminuto (cabe solo una persona con maleta), pero funciona bien. Jenny, la encargada de limpieza, fue muy amable y atenta. Como punto a mejorar: el check-in fue confuso, ya que se realiza en un edificio diferente al de nuestra habitación. Sería ideal que esto se aclarara con más anticipación. La zona está llena de supermercados como Carrefour y Día, y puedes caminar a Gran Vía en menos de 10 minutos. En resumen: una opción muy conveniente para quienes quieren estar en el centro de todo sin sacrificar tranquilidad ni funcionalidad.

Esta en el centro de la ciudad, muy accesible a metro, taxis autobuses restaurantes y tiendas. No me gusto lo extremadamente pequeno del elevador, solo una persona y dos maletas nada mas puede subir o bajar.
