What a beautiful hotel! The main areas and restaurants are beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and local images and art to enhance the experience. The amenities are fantastic, the staff so gracious, and the food delicious and plentiful. Wish we stayed longer!

Incredible scenery. The property is lovely and in a spectacular landscape of ocean views and high altitude vineyards. We also stayed at Reid's Palace in Funchal, which is historic and lovely, but Quinta do Furao was our favorite.

Beautiful hotel

A hotel with beautiful view and wonderful service! All the staff were very friendly and the service was simply top-notch. The hotel restaurant has a stunning sea view and offers exellent food, highly recommend. Huge thank you to all the staff members in Quinta Do Furao!

Lovely accommodations.

The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious. The best breakfast we have had on the island. Lovely ambiance with the dramatic cliff views and vineyards. A typical colmo is on premises, which is a nice touch. The shower is a good size, great water pressure. The AC works well. The beds are better than in other hotels we’ve stayed at on Madeira.

Absolutely breathtaking property. Staff were wonderful, room, shower, and bed were large. Biggest breakfast I've seen in a hotel/ resort ever with made-to-order options, easy parking, good location. Laundry service was available but priced per item. No A/C but with windows open and a fan was not bad even at end of August. Highly recommend- one of our best stays ever.

Absolutely Beautiful Quinta in a Beautiful Locatio

This is a really beautiful Quinta in a great location near make great hiking trails. The setting of this hotel is spectacular, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are really nice and very comfortable, breakfast is fantastic...I am really happy that I chose this hotel and I would highly recommend this hotel...A+++

Amazing location, beautiful hotel, outstanding service from the friendly, attentive staff and lovely setting for the indoor and outdoor pool next to the vineyard. Highly recommend the 5pm classes like Portuguese, wine tasting and bread making.

Most Relaxing hotel in Madeira

This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore). The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities. Staff cannot do enough for you and the breakfast has many fresh options. Every room has nespresso coffee machine and pods and the room receives a couple of handmade chocolates daily- a lovely touch. Another practical touch is the dressing gowns, slippers and beach towels for pool use. The views are second to none and the service was fantastic- I would definitely return here.

Staggeringly gorgeous views, very friendly staff and really pretty property. Clean hotel room and I'd stay again, however, I would stay in cooler weather. The hotel does not have air conditioning and our room was stifling hot since there was no breeze. Two fans were put in our room, which helped for sleeping, but still quite hot during the afternoons and while getting ready for dinner. Overall, enjoyed my stay, and loved the views.

An absolute must in the Santana region!

This hotel was our ‘splash’ for the trip and it absolutely delivered. Very friendly and professional welcome at the Reception desk, checked in early with no qualms at all, beautifully clean rooms with good amenities and amazing views. We loved the cliff side location with views over the dramatic Madeira’s coast. Impressive breakfast spread tended by staff who were very well trained. We enjoyed the pool/ hot tub though felt a little rushed after the day as it closed at 8pm… perhaps 9pm would give guests the opportunity to enjoy after a busy days walking / exploring. We visited in early March and the weather was changeable but the hotel was a welcome haven to relax away from the elements. We ate at the bar and the portions were huge. Very much enjoyed the evening guitarist who made the atmosphere relaxed and very pleasant. We would return tomorrow, especially during the summer, when the outdoor pool amongst the vineyards would be an extra treat. Thankyou. It was a lovely stay
