"Petit hotel trés agréable à Nosy Be. Les bungalows sont trés jolis et agréables. Point fort, la piscine, qui est grande et belle, extrêmement agréable aprés une journée de balade dans Nosy Be. "Famata lodge was a great stay for a couple of nights. If you are doing the RN7 and want to stay close to the airport, this place may be for you. They upgraded us from the Hemingway to the Eau-La-La which worked great for our family. Lots of sitting space. The pool is nice and relaxing. For dinner, they made vegetarian options for me that were interesting and enjoyable to eat. "

"I had the unfortunate situation when my Land Cruiser broke down in the challenging roads in Madagascar. I called Expedia but they were not much help. Expedia told the only way they could cancel was for them to contact the hotel. Knowing the challenges with calls in Madagascar, I told Expedia I would call myself as I am here in the country. Sandra answered right away and after I explained my situation told me she would consult with Oliver, the property manager the next day as it was almost 10 pm....

"Je suis globalement déçu de cet endroit. Le prix me semble bien au delà de la prestation. Dans le bungalow (j'etais dans le 10) : Il n'y a pas de rideau occultant, la porte d'entrée se ferme mal et laisse passer la lumière et les insectes et lézards. "Der Aufenthalt war ok für eine Nacht. Für längeren Aufenthalt wären wir woandershin. Das Bett war nicht wirklich sauber, der Boden sollte mal nass aufgenommen werden. Der Pool hat uns garnicht gereizt, voller Fliegen. Das Essen war ok, Personal freundlich. "

"DO NOT BOOK. The pictures and description are for the Tsienimparihy LODGE and not the HOTEL (both located in Ambalavao). The hotel is a rundown place and is 10$ a night. Neither the hotel or lodge had a reservation in our name although we had a hotels.com reservation. We ended up having to book another hotel in extremis. We were told to book directly through the lodge and advise you to do the same if considering this option."

"Das Hotel ist mit hochwertigen Materialien gebaut. Solarstrom und warmes Wasser gibt es rund um die Uhr. Leider sind die Bungalows ( wahrscheinlich wegen des Windes) quer zum Strand ausgerichtet und haben deshalb nur einen eingeschränkten, manche nur einen sehr eingeschränkten Meerblick. Der Strand eignet sich kaum zum Baden, da das Wasser sehr flach und voller Algen ist. Der Swimmingpool ist schön. Leider liegt er vom Meer abgewendet. Die Mahlzeiten sind sehr gut, nicht ganz billig und könnten...
