Beauiful location

Beautiful property, very large chalet right on the beach. \Just what we needed after safaris in Botwana and traellign around Madagascar. Highly recommend.

Amazing villa and location, shame about the staff

Having travelled around Madagascar and had the most friendly welcome with reasonable customer service even in basic accommodation, I was slightly surprised by the 'can't be bothered' attitude of staff here. We had a welcome drink at check in but then were traipsed around the premises by someone who made no effort to talk to us, only to end where we started having carried our huge bags around with us. Perhaps rethink the order of this... Air Madagascar was on strike so we were struggling to get off the island but getting information from reception was like blood from a stone. They were also no help in helping us find a hotel in Tana as we had to leave a day early when our friends were in a much cheaper hotel down the road and the staff called around and found them somewhere. We asked if there was any chance of a refund as it was beyond our control. The answer was 'no' and a look like they'd just scraped something off the sole of their shoe.. the answer we expected but delivered in a shocking way!! The one time we wanted to use the pool they were using it for a diving lesson (3 groups in a small pool).

Das ganze Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich, wenn man über kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten hinweg sieht, ist das Princess Bora auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Vor allem die Lage der Strandvillen ist ein Traum. Das Frühstück könnte ein wenig umfangreicher sein.

Excellent séjour dans un cadre magnifique, un site fabuleux, zéro moustique, un potager bio, le spa est de très haut niveau, le service excursion propose énormément de visites aussi bien terrestre que nautique, le propriétaire est très accueillant et au petit soin pour ses clients, le personnel est agréable et souriant, donc je repars avec pleins de bons souvenirs. De mon point de vue, il y a des petites choses à améliorer comme par exemple le wifi dans les chambres (uniquement présent au lounge) manque également la télé dans les chambres.

Hotel com necessidade de renovação dos quartos (antigo, espaço do duche pequeno, com as águas do banho a saírem facilmente do duche e com entupimentos constantes, cama desconfortável e almofada igualmente). Os pontos de rede de Wi-Fi existentes são muito fracos (mal vale não contar com o acesso). Foi solicitado que nos verificassem a questão da casa de banho, nada foi feito ou nos transmitido. Contudo, staff simpático.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, das Zimmer war sehr hell und freundlich. Die Aussicht vom Bett aus auf das Meer und die Sonnenutergänge waren sehr schön. Der Garten war sehr schön. Für ein paar Tage war die Lodge ok. Freundliche Grüße

Le repos dans un cadre idyllique

bungalows noyés dans la verdure face à la plage: détente au calme assurée, avec couchers de soleil depuis la varangue de la chambre! Ni télévision ni wifi dans les chambres: on profite de la nature, des amis et des activités proposées par l'hôtel (sorties en mer, excursions en 4x4, etc) Très bonne cuisine servie au restaurant face à la mer par un personnel attentionné et toujours souriant.

Hotel da luna di miele su di un'isola sperduta

Il Princesse Bora è il classico hotel da sogno o da luna di miele, se vogliamo. Tutto è stato curato nei minimi dettagli fin dal nostro arrivo. Il direttore della struttura ci ha accolto con un the freddo fatto con frutta tropicale e ci ha spiegato tutto quanto potesse tornarci utile. Ci ha accompagnato in un breve tour dell'albergo e si è reso disponibile per qualsiasi nostra richiesta. La struttura è molto grande, fatta in stile villaggio. Include innumerevoli bungalow, tutti distaccati tra di loro, una bellissima SPA, tre bar e un paio di negozietti dove poter acquistare souvenir o escursioni. La camera non è grandissima, ma è davvero curata e ricorda i soggiorni che si vedono spesso nei film. Qualsiasi cosa è bella e funzionale. I bar e il ristorante sono ben forniti e offrono una cucina ricercata e gustosa, davvero non potrete mancare una cena presso l'hotel! La spiaggia è piccola, ma abbastanza curata (forse girando per l'isola si trovano angoli più paradasiaci). Se proprio volessi trovare una nota dolente, il wi-fi non funziona granchè bene, ma siamo pur sempre su di un'isola dispersa nell'oceano!

excellent hotel great setting, top service !

I loved the beach the restaurant, the bar, the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English all which is a bit of a premium in Madagascar. I love it and think it is a perfect weekend getaway from Tana, I will definitely come here again. Many thanks to all for making my stay such a great experience. The Wales, quad biking, the boat trips ... all great !
