"From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. "Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."

"Nothing can be blamed on front line staff when it comes to this disgrace of a hotel. This is a matter attributed to owner/management. The rooms were in a horrible state with stains on the floors, carpets, etc. The bathrooms, plaster, and fixtures were rusted and falling apart. "Friendly and helpful staff and very nice room. We especially liked the bathroom facilities including the sink all being in the bathroom itself. We really love its location across the street from the ferry ride to the island."

"The room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because it was so loud. Not that there were loud people, but because the building is so old and poorly insulated that you can hear everything happening in other rooms like it's in your room."

"We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...
