"Overall a good stay. The cleaner came in early in the morning while we were in the room- that was a little weird. She didn't even acknowledge us she just looked at us then left. We had some trouble with the toilet flush- it was quite old and seemed like cistern trouble over user error. I mentioned this on check out and they logged it for maintenance. The restaurant was excellent- good service, good prices, good atmosphere. The pool was an experience- I didn't know you have to wear swim caps...

"This is a poor excuse for a Fairmont and it's isolated so you need a vehicle or taxis to go anywhere. Staff who fail do not appear to suffer any consequences. The hotel has three beautiful rooms but none of them were in use. It's really difficult to access the spa so prople with disabilities beware. "I arrived early but was able to check in as my room was ready. The young lady on reception was excellent and showed me where I could park my motorcycle. The hotel uses a barrier and ticket system you have to pay €10 for parking overnight. Room was great although the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working. I ate at the hotel in the evening, food and staff was as expected and as with other places in Ireland I had a blackcurrant squash for free. "

We arrived at 7:30 a.m. after an overnight flight from the United States and were prepared to pay that fee. "The main area was really nice, good air conditioned and free coffee, but the rooms had no air-conditioning at all and was super warm, you could open the windows tho. The walls felt like they were made out of paper because you could literally hear everyone slam their doors. The rooms were kinda clean, but the wallls looked like someone has pissed on all of them haha?? Like huge waterstains. The staff was amazing tho <3"
