Only stayed one night because we arrived a day early and couldn't get into our other hotel but this place was very nice. Good sized pleasant room with a nice shared balcony area. Good location at quiet end of town and a good for the price.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful! We ended up extending our stay in Luang Prabang because of this guest house and its beautiful location as well as people.
I would rate the hotel but our prepaid booking ended in his spam email and he was fully booked when we arrived. Give him his due he did ride off to find somewhere that had space for us at no extra costs to us but the place he chose (the sokdee) was the noisiest hotel we've stayed in during these last 3 weeks and we ended up with worst nights sleep ever
Lots of good things, the only negatives were they never cleaned my room daily as it says on the website, which the trash was the main problem as you drink a lot of water bottles and I eat breakfast in my room. The second thing is wifi quit working after the 2nd day and I was there for four days. Shower works well and so does the air con. If you have never used the kind of shower with electric heater just don't turn the water on too strong. The higher it is on, the cooler the water gets. The people were nice but little or no English, which is okay until you are trying to get your room cleaned or check on wifi. Amazing that they didn't understand the word wifi. I tried to find the equivalent in laos but couldn't. I think it is wifi or wefe.
The room was clean and nice. The only problems are there was no daily service as it states and I was there four nights and after three nights the empty water bottles were sort of taking over the room, so I asked for service and they said I had to leave the key for service. They should let you know. The wifi worked okay the first two night and not at all after that. The night guy at the desk communicates enough to talk to but the morning lady does not even understand wifi. Now that I know I can get service, that helps. Oh, they give you a pot to heat water but no cups. There is a frig which is nice. The only thing that would stop me from staying here is the no wifi as that is how I stay in touch with family.
