"Cliff checked us in and gave us many useful tips about Yosemite and the local fresh fruit very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well laid out with great storage. We would have been comfortable staying for a week."
"We enjoyed our stay at Tenaya at Yosemite. The location and facilities were beautiful. It was conveniently located outside Yosemite, though it was still about an hour drive to Yosemite Valley, which seemed to be where most people are. Tracking up and down each day is a lot—at least it was for us, and the windy roads made us a tad nauseous. We were checked into our room early, but soon realized we were next to the pool and had younger children in the room above us who seemed to run constantly. Since it is a resort, I expected some noise, but I asked to be moved if possible. The staff was very responsive and quickly found us another room away from the noise. It was perfect!
We liked Jackalope’s Bar & Grill so much that we ate there twice. If you can, ask for Caleb—he was great. Livia at the front desk was also very pleasant and helpful. They served s’mores every night, and although the supplies went quickly, they refilled them several times. I do wish there were more fire rings available, since we weren’t able to get one.
Timberloft Pizza was good as well. I would have ordered a side salad, but $15 was a bit too much for me. I had a Firefall Strawberry Daiquiri from the Bearfoot Bar, and it was delicious. If I had found it on day one, I would have ordered it every night.
We loved the Tenaya water bottles and took them to Yosemite each day. Parking was great. One morning we had low tire pressure and one of the staff members helped air it up and get us in our way."
