We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner one night and used the outdoor Jacuzzi at night. The staff was pleasant and helpful. being near the river was a relaxing sound
We have stayed here many times and always worth the visit!
Considering how big the place is, the rooms are relatively quiet and the hotel is quiet.
Rooms are clean and the kitchenette is awesome for preparing breakfast/light dinner. The store sells things you may have forgotten (like butter or milk) My only complaint was they give you soap, one towel and NO potholders for cooking (bring your own?)
You can buy items for s’mores and ask them to turn in the fire pit near the playground. There is one indoor pool with hot tub outside.
we visited in spring and the snow melt was happening with the river rushing and - totally quiet in the room. Really impressive considering the noise.
The river view was amazing! Loved the sound of the water day/night. The only recommendation I would have is for visitors to look at places to eat in advance since there’s not many options after hours near by. However, the room itself and location were spectacular. Staff was available 24/7 over the phone when we had questions and took the time to recommend hiking trails and scenery locations since it was our first time visiting. Will definitely book a future stay!
The check in was fast. Staff at the front desk were friendly and informative. We loved our room! Perfect for the kids. We had the loft for 3 nights and the kids loved having the second floor for “themselves”. We used the indoor pool which was warm and it was refreshing after a days hiking. We did not use their restaurants. The river behind it is beautiful. Parking was easy. Would definitely use next time we go to Yosemite. Oh, and the kitchen was heaven sent and had all the needed utensils .

Amazing location and property! Staff wasn’t super friendly.
The room was very spacious and clean. The property have great views and right next to the river.
There are restaurants on site but they are seasonal and only open 5-8pm with one for breakfast from 7-10am.

Amazing experience totally recommend this hotel specially the river view rooms.
We had a river side room that was great. We were there during spring break for 4 nights so some of the food services were limited. Room was very nice and the room was large. The bath was large also, but had a whirlpool tub that had a very high spot in to manage-Only complaint of the room. Staff was helpful. It is located just outside Yosemite and has about a 11 mile drive to the center of the valley. Would stay there again.
pool was dirty and overchlorinated - stung my eyes, .... we have asked for wake up call and never received it .... this is already second year in a row, .... all staff was very polite and nice but some were not speaking english which created confusion and frustration ...
El Rio Merced se encuentra a un costado con vistas hermosas, la alberca es climatizada con un jacuzzi que es perfecto para relajarse posterior a una caminata de Yosemite
