"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. We will recommend our friend when visit Victoria."

"Only has A/C units in main room. The bedroom only had fan. But it is an older building so not surprised. Clive's was fantastic. Try the Empress G&T, very visually impressive and tasty too! Steak and Frites happy hour was delicious! Roof top dining great view, dinner was average."

"Very helpful staff especially when we asked them to fix small issue inside the washroom. In addition, staff were helpful when we try to navigate Fairmont Empress parking area which was confusing at start. Moreover, cleaning staff were amazing and always made the room clean and organize. Lastly, breakfast sausage was good with excellent drip coffee that made my brain focus and alive! During breakfast, the staff were accomodating when we told them that we are going to join whale watching...

At every level they continued to amaze me how considerate and helpful the staff were. Absolutely no complaints."

Location is perfect if you are wanting to be in a quiet residential area with beach and park right across the street, but it is several miles from city center.
