"Love the rooms, staff & location. Up scale, quiet and just overall a lovely place to stay. We find The Courtney Room (onsite bar/restaurant) a bit pricey and not really very fancy for what you're paying."

"Beautiful place to stay. The highlight is the breakfast prepared by a chef, and the lovely deer that were grazing outside. It’s also a short walk up the street to the lieutenant governor’s residence with the lovely walking trails and Craigdarroch castle."

"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. "We got checked in and left for a few hours came back. They had done a full turn down service brought fresh ice, and water in our rooms. Remade the beds just a phenomenal experience. All of the staff were above and beyond. They were so helpful and wonderful and accommodating highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone. "An absolute delight to stay here, especially in the tea house proper. The room had so much personality, and right from the start, the staff made it clear that they would help us with anything we needed. Afternoon tea was flawless, and the breakfast was top-notch. We wish we’d stayed longer than one night!"

"The hotel is located so conveniently to parks and attractions. Very walkable and quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast at the in-house pub. Only suggestion would be to have a bug screen for the windows so we can keep it open during the night. Room was a bit hot and had to have a fan on all night."

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return"
