"The hotel overall was a disappointment this time around. Room was not cleaned all the way through small papers on the floor and other small objects on the couch. Woke up early to loud music at 6am and construction/remodeling banging shortly followed. "

"I was very frusterated with the check-in process and the staff. We booked this hotel to have 2 queen beds and then at check-in which was just before 10pm at night they tried to tell me that they did not have any double queen rooms available and that I was getting switched into a kind room (which was a less expensive room then the one I booked). Never once did they say anything about me getting money back since they were putting me into a different room then what I originally paid for. I asked to speak to a manager and the girl just kept disappearing for long lengths of time and then would come back without a manager. She did this several times and finally came back saying that they magically found a double queen room after all. It seemed like they were trying to hustle us into a different (less expensive) room type so that they could sell our double queen room to someone else for more money. Once again, they were trying to move me to a king room that was less expensive without offering any type of money back for it. I then asked for a manager to contact me which never happened until I had to ask several times for it. We were supposed to be staying at this hotel again in April for 3 nights and I just canceled our stay and rebooked at the Gault House in hopes of having a better customer service experience. I will say that the hotel was very clean and looked very nice though, I just was not happy with how the staff handled us and tried to hustle us out of our room."

"I purchased this hotel to be in the downtown area for over 350$ for one night. I came to visit with me and my wife and daughter. Usually our vacations consist of half site seeing and half swimming to accommodate my 9 year old daughter. The one reason I picked this hotel was due to the pool closing at 10pm. This gave us enough time to site see and swim. However we got in the pool a little after 9 and at 9:25 the front desk attendant came and told us the pool was closed. This really was unfortunate and no reason was given for closing the pool early. Another issue I had when I woke up at 4am I wanted a Complimentary bottle of water that they offered down stairs. When I asked the lady at the front counter who was on her phone talking to someone on speaker sitting there she told me that they did not have any more water. Once that lady left in the am to shift change I was then able to get a bottle of water. This definitely was not the experience I thought I was paying for at a price of 350$. "

"Upon arrival, great! Woke up to a bed bug on me, they moved me rooms said they would refund and has taken well over 48 hours and still no refund. The new room, no outlets worked, the floor was disgusting, blood on the walls. Would I stay again: only if I absolutely had to. "
