"Overall, we had a great stay at the Hilton Universal City, but it definitely started off on the wrong foot. The biggest issue was check-in. Our room wasn’t ready at 4:00 p.m., and the time kept getting pushed back twice. We were traveling with an exhausted toddler, so waiting until almost 5:00 p.m. ..."

"The arrangement for the various prices and combinations of breakfast items was annoying. 20% service charge is overboard. With this charge there should not be a line for “tip” in the bill."

The Garland
"The Garland is one of our favorite hotels anywhere. After 3 separate visits we have not been disappointed. We love staying at this fun property when we attend events at the Hollywood Bowl and do some site seeing. We also love the Front Porch, attached to the hotel!"
