This hotel is truly "historic" if that is what you are looking for. Historic in the sense of old furniture, carpet, furniture, dark, musky odor, and outdated designs. You will see black and white photos when you walk down the halls, however it truly doesn't have the fun vintage vibes if that's what you're looking for. It's just a word to indicating how uncomfortable your stay would be. The front desk appear staff half awake every time we saw them and has poor customer service. They never got out for their seat to help you and always staring at their own phones or at the computer. Don't expect warm greetings. There is not even a restroom in the lobby of the hotel and the key cards kept getting de-magnetized. When we first arrived, we were told to use a room a guest just checked-out of, on the second floor. To our surprise, as our first impression, we used a dirty room with towels everywhere just for the toilet. Other than the front desk lobby, the hotel has a dark grungy feeling and paint, carpeting, furniture are maintained with cheap materials. Our first day of checking in we were met with loud constructions at the room across from ours and we asked the front desk if we could change rooms, however they denied us. Also, wifi did not work at all! Please reconsider booking this place because if you're looking for a comfortable stay, this place is not it.
