"Our room was ready a little bit early when we got there and they let us check in. We got the mini suite because there were three of us. We booked here due to the convenience of being right next-door to the Carnival cruise terminal where we were going to sail out after spending the night at the Queen Mary.
There was a queen size bed and a pullout couch that I believe was also queen size. There are also two full bathrooms in the suite. It’s dark and a little bit creepy but in a good way. It’s old, elegant and really cool.
Our irritation came when I realized (rather close to bedtime) that the pullout couch was not made. I pulled it out and there were no sheets. There were no sheets or bedding in the closet either. So I went to the front desk to request such and after waiting for more than an hour, I had to go back and ask again. The daytime and nighttime staff were like night and day. Daytime staff super helpful and accommodating. Very great with customer service. Nighttime staff unfriendly, cold and slightly rude. I finally got those sheets delivered to the door, but I had to put them on myself. Not exactly what I was anticipating for a room that cost over $350 for one night. I liked the experience, but I probably won’t do it again.
The observation deck bar was a great time!"
