Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "Ideal central location in the middle of Bala High Street. Not enough parking on site. Small car park (at the rear) already full of people drinking at the pub, so had to park on street instead. Not enough staff available so had to wait a little to check in. Room was decent. Plenty of space with a nice modern bathroom suite and shower. "The room was basic but clean and a great location. There is no parking and it did take about an hour to find parking which was 24 hours. It was a Bank Holiday though so it was busy. The walls were not sound proof so we could hear other people coming and going and playing loud music from their rooms and that made it hard to sleep properly. "

"Avoid! I stayed in a single room on the second floor of this pub. The room was very tired/shabby and in desperate need of a deep clean. Old carpet fraying around the edges, dirty splashes up the wall, etc. Sloping, creaking floor. The mattress was old and uncomfortable - springs dig into you all night. I’m always wary of non-white towels and bed linen as cleanliness is never as good - it’s dark grey towels here and grey bed linen. Thin pillows and duvet. And the TV didn’t work. I now see...
