"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value."

"The breakfast was good, both choice and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It appears that they welcome dogs in some rooms. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. There wasn't any parking at the premises, but I was able to find an on street space relatively nearby."

"Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. "My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again."

"It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the "

"Avoid at all costs, we arrive and left refusing to stay. "Glamping pod" was in a terrible condition, hardly cleaned and falling to bits. No towels provide, bed was unmade on arrival, hot tub was not cleaned let alone heated for arrival. Was definitely not as advertised, a break to relax and recharge. Shocked Expedia continue to list."

"The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money."
