"The pool was lovely with great views across the nearby landscape. Not far from key attractions but do need a taxi. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. We had massages which were excellent and very reasonable. We ate 2 nights and the food was very good and again reasonably priced. Nice local dishes alongside more usual burgers etc. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend "
"While the property itself is beautiful, the rooms are incredibly dated and service is often slow. There are no outlets next to the beds on either side and no outlets in the bathroom. Your only option to charge/use your phone/other electric device is across the room at the desk. Oftentimes, I had to rely on my portable charger if I had two electric devices that needed power. I couldn’t even do my hair in the bathroom because the only hair dryer is in the desk and cannot be pulled out to be used. Furthermore, the room itself has very few light fixtures, making it hard to see.
Additionally, à la carte food service is incredibly slow. We had ordered wraps for a quick lunch, but 45 min later, we had to nudge the staff to check on them. "
"Very clean and good location. Only thing is all the doors are frosted glass, meaning that there’s too much light coming through from outside and between rooms."
"I appreciated the free airport pickup, although I did have to wait a little while. The hostel is quite close to the airport, so the transfer wasn’t long. I booked a private room and believe I was upgraded, it had air conditioning and a spacious bathroom, which made my stay very comfortable. Since I had to leave early most days, the staff kindly prepared takeaway breakfasts for me, and they were tasty. The only downside was that coffee wasn’t included with the free breakfast. The location is convenient, with a grocery store within walking distance, and I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience here. In fact, I would have preferred to stay here for my entire trip rather than splitting my stay with the Zimbabwe side, mainly because of how good my experience here, and it’s very affordable too!"
"Had a great stay at fawlty towers. The room had aircondition and mosqito net. It was a basic room but was clean and with a comfortable bed. A big outdoor area, kind of like a little park and with a pool, bar and restaurant.
The staff was very nice and helpfull.
Location was very central with a small shopping center across the street. Bars and restaurants were walking distance, althoug its recomended to take a taxi at night.
Highly recomendable."
